Hazardous area classifications can be conducted to any client nominated standards.

REPORTS

Hazardous Area Classification reports can take some time to draft.

Generally, these will be available approximately 7 days after returning from the site and receiving all required information.

A draft report will be sent, complete with draft Hazardous Area Classification drawings for client comment, prior to the issue of the final report.

Comments on draft documents will be actioned within 48 hours.

Invoices are issued at draft report time for this service, due to the amount of work required to complete these reports.

COMBUSTIBLE DUSTS

Hazardous Area Classification for combustible dusts is conducted to AS/NZS 61241.10 (to be replaced by AS/NZS 60079.10.2 in time).

Classifications to international standards can be conducted on request. EPEE Consulting maintains a current set of most international standards.

REVIEW OF CLASSIFICATIONS

Over time, hazardous area classifications and philosphies evolve.

Some classifications are simply Area Classifications with no further consideration to Source of Release plume analysis.

Some large classifications are this way for a purpose, but some are simply inefficient.

Also, changes to plant equipment or operating conditions/processes may require the current classification to be reviewed.

EPEE provides this service, with a free initial consultation to review existing documents and provide comment on the best way forward.
